Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Forest County Criminal History, including its written material, links, and partner search tools. Visiting or using the site means that the user accepts these conditions. Anyone who does not accept them should discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated site has no government affiliation and is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither its content nor a linked tool may be used for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance eligibility, or another purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

1. What This Website Is

Forest County Criminal History is a private reference resource. It does not store official records, perform official checks, retrieve files, or submit documents. It identifies sources such as the Forest County courts and Sheriff's Office, Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository, and Pennsylvania Megan's Law Public Website, along with third-party research tools.

  • Use the information for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the site or its systems

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

The site and its operators do not produce consumer reports or services intended for applicant, renter, credit, or insurance decisions. A user agrees not to rely on site content or linked results for any FCRA-regulated purpose. Where law requires an authorized official check, the proper agency or a compliant provider must be used.

5. No Legal Advice

General descriptions of Forest County criminal records are educational, not legal advice. A Pennsylvania lawyer should address how a charge, warrant, sentence, Clean Slate provision, or expungement rule applies to an individual matter.

6. No Warranties

Official records change as charges, dispositions, restrictions, and corrections are entered. Confirm material facts with the maintaining office.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, costs, or demands caused by that user's misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Pennsylvania law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. A dispute relating to use of the site must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction in Pennsylvania. Official record access remains subject to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. ยงยง 67.101 through 67.3104, the UJS access policy, and the Criminal History Record Information Act, 18 Pa.C.S. 14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be limited only as much as necessary.
